The Georgia Agricultural Labor Relations Forum is coming up Nov. 7–8 at the University of Georgia Tifton campus. Presented by the Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association, the forum will feature speakers and workshops, so growers can get the latest information on all things labor.

Topics to be covered during the forum include the H-2A program, I-9 audits, workers’ compensation, the Affordable Care Act and more. The first day of the forum will cover several different topics, while the second day will focus on H-2A and include a panel of experts. Growers will have the opportunity to ask the experts any questions they may have about programs or policies.

President of the Georgia Farm Bureau, Gerald Long, will give the opening remarks on Nov. 7 to kick off the forum. Later that day, Wayne Kotowski of the Department of Labor, Southeastern Division, will be the keynote speaker during lunch.

Registration for the Georgia Agricultural Labor Relations Forum ends Nov. 1. For more information or to register, visit the website here.
