Focus on Technology: GFVGA to Host Webinar in July

The Georgia Fruit Vegetable Growers Association (GFVGA) will host a webinar in July, focused on precision agriculture and technology in the produce industry.

In order to combat the rising costs of inputs, increased imports and labor regulations, growers need to focus on technology to help improve the bottom line. Researchers from the University of Georgia (UGA) are developing different technologies to help the produce industry.

The panel of speakers for the webinar are from the University of Georgia. They include Nick Place, UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) Dean; Glen Rains, UGA CAES; Wes Porter, UGA CAES; and Charlie Li, UGA College of Engineering.
