Florida Blueberry Growers Association to Host Fall Meeting

27346203956_fb1bee8f25_zThe 2016 Florida Blueberry Growers Association (FBGA) Fall Meeting & Tradeshow is quickly approaching. The day-long educational event will take place on Tuesday, November 29, at the Hillsborough Community College Trinkle Center in Plant City. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

FBGA President Dudley Calfee says, “The greatest opportunity (of the meeting) is for growers to come in with other growers. There’s nothing better than talking with someone that is in the same business, whether they are from across the street or across the state.”

Calfee explained that a career in agriculture tends to isolated, but that the FBGA Fall Meeting & Tradeshow is an opportunity to gather together and focus on research and the latest products in the industry. The event will allow growers to discuss challenges and opportunities, adds Calfee.
