The annual meeting of the Agriculture (Ag) Institute of Florida was held on November 11 at Feeding America Tampa Bay, which is one of the newest members of the institute.
The event encouraged members to mix and mingle with agriculture industry communicators representing associations, businesses and institutions, while also giving back to the community.
Attendees toured Feeding America Tampa Bay’s facility. Prior to the tour, an optional volunteer activity of sorting and packing meal items took place.
Each year, Feeding America Tampa Bay distributes over 36 million meals to the Tampa Bay area. Every dollar that is donated helps produce 10 full meals.
