Alabama Extension reminds those interested that hemp licensee orientation meetings will be held at five separate locations in January 2022. The meetings will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and will provide an overview of the 2022 hemp season with changes to the hemp rules, requirements licensees must adhere to, hemp budgets and other procedures and deadlines.
Licensed growers, processor/handlers and universities are welcome to attend. New growers are strongly encouraged to attend.

Tuesday, Jan. 11, Wiregrass Research and Extension Center, Headland, Ala.
Wednesday, Jan. 12, Grace Fellowship Church, Atmore, Ala.
Thursday, Jan. 13, Tuscaloosa County Extension Office, Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Thursday, Jan. 20, Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries, Montgomery, Ala.
Friday, Jan. 21, Camp Meadowbrook, Cullman, Ala.
